The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the results of a review of anti-dumping duties on certain unalloyed steel round welded tubes originating in Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan.
The review also applied to Taiwan-origin round carbon steel welded tubes.
The DOC concluded that the withdrawal of anti-dumping duties on products from these countries is likely to lead to continued or repeated dumping.
Thus, the weighted average dumping margin will increase to 103.38 per cent for Brazil, 7.32 per cent for Mexico, 1.2 per cent for South Korea and 27.65 per cent for Taiwan. The weighted average dumping margin for carbon steel round welded tubes originating in Taiwan will be 8.91%.
