The Taiwanese company TMP Steel released its financial report

TMP Steel, a company based in Taiwan that specializes in manufacturing and selling iron and steel building materials, released its financial report.

The Taiwanese company TMP Steel released its financial report

In February, the company's revenue amounted to approximately NT$492 million (approximately USD 15.6 million), representing a decline of 39.7% compared to the previous year. However, for the first two months of the current year, its revenue reached NT$1.259 billion (approximately USD 40 million), showing a 6.15% increase from the same period last year.

TMP Steel attributed the decrease in revenue to reduced sales volume and the impact of the Lunar New Year holiday, particularly affecting the shipment of rebars. Despite this, the company highlighted expectations for stable demand stemming from new commercial office buildings, factory construction, government initiatives promoting public construction, and urban renewal projects. Consequently, TMP Steel maintained an optimistic outlook regarding its operational performance.

In the fiscal year of 2023, the company reported sales totaling NT$ 7,825.66 million (approximately USD 250.42 million), compared to NT$ 6,630.5 million (approximately USD 211.86 million) in the previous year. Additionally, net income for the same period amounted to NT$ 263.23 million (approximately USD 8.39 million), up from NT$ 177.13 million (approximately USD 5.67 million) reported in the preceding year.
