The 6th National Steel Festival and Exhibition, the largest meeting platform for the steel and iron industry in Iran, will be held from January 7-9, 2025, at Tehran Milad Tower. The festival will be organized under the leadership of the Iranian Steel Producers Association, with contributions from the Presidency of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Imidro, and major steel companies.
According to a statement from the festival secretariat, registrations for the event have begun, and the deadline for participation in the opening ceremony is set for January 5, 2025. Participants can register on the festival’s website (www.event.steeliran.org) to obtain their entrance cards.
Opening and Closing Ceremonies
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on January 7, 2025, at 08:00 at Milad Tower. Representatives from state institutions such as the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, the Presidency of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Presidency of Economy Science and Technology, as well as leading representatives from the steel and iron industry, will attend the event. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on January 9, 2025, at 13:30.
High Participation Expected
Organizers have reported significant interest from steel industry producers, technology companies, universities, and research centers. The festival aims to promote domestic production in the steel sector, showcase the projects of domestic technology companies, and foster collaborations between producers and technology-focused companies.
Highlighted Events
A public exhibition on domestic production, technology development, and opportunities in the steel and iron industry will be open from January 7-9. The exhibition will be open from 09:00 to 16:00. Various panels, cooperation agreements, and award ceremonies for the steel sector will take place during the event. The new version of the Iran National Steel Atlas will also be introduced.
Successful projects nominated by steel producers and mining companies will be awarded. Discount opportunities will be provided for scientific and academic institutions participating in technology-oriented projects. Media sponsors will have free access to the event.
Strengthening Industry Collaborations
At the festival, the achievements of major steel and mining companies in domestic production and technology will be showcased at individual company stands. Additionally, panels will be organized to increase collaboration between technology companies and local manufacturers.
This event, aimed at enhancing the domestic production capacity of Iran’s steel and iron industry, will make significant contributions to the growth of the region’s industrial and mining sectors.
