The preparations for ANKIROS Fair, which will be organized for the 16th time this year, have come to an end. The fair, which will take place in Yeşilköy İFM between September 19-21 this year, attracts great interest from home and abroad.
Organized by Hannover Messe Ankiros Fuarcılık A.Ş. every 2 years, 421 domestic and 716 foreign companies are represented at the fair. This year, a total of 289 foreign companies from 42 countries participated directly, which shows the importance of ANKIROS Fair in the global metallurgy sector. With a total of 1,137 exhibitors and 70,000 m² exhibition area, ANKIROS Fair will once again host all stakeholders of the industry and the latest technologies in the metallurgy sector. In addition, the central location of the exhibition area, close to all commercial and social centers, hotels and public transportation, offers great convenience to exhibitors and visitors.

ANKIROS Fairs receive great support from the leading national and global organizations and associations of the industry. The main theme of the fair, which has become an indispensable business platform that offers effective and permanent solutions for all related industrial branches, will be “Sustainable Metallurgy and Innovative Technologies” in 2024. The 12th International Foundry Congress will be organized by TÜDÖKSAD and the 22nd International Metallurgy and Materials Congress by METEM.

Giving information about the preparations for the fair, Hannover Messe Ankiros Fuarcılık A.Ş. General Manager İbrahim Anıl's statement regarding the fair is as follows;
“We continue our preparations for ANKIROS Fair, which we will organize for the 16th time this year, with great excitement. The relocation of the fair to a new area and the intense participation demands motivate us a lot. With the lifting of travel restrictions after the pandemic, the importance of face-to-face fairs has increased. Specialized fairs provide companies with great advantages in terms of time and cost. For example, instead of meeting with five global companies in different countries, it makes it possible to meet with officials at a single fair attended by these companies. This year at ANKIROS, we experienced a serious leap and broke a record in terms of foreign participation. More than 60% of the companies represented at the fair are foreign companies, and 289 of them are direct participants. As this international participation will be reflected in the number of visitors, we expect more foreign visitors than ever this year.”
The fair will feature 3 special sections
ANKIROS - Iron and Steel / ANNOFER - Non-Ferrous Metals /TURKCAST - Casting Products
TURKCAST - Casting Products Special Section / TURKCAST Special Section will present the materials produced by different casting methods in many different fields such as heavy industry machines, agricultural machinery, shipbuilding, automotive, construction, urbanism, transportation, heating industry and many other fields that are of great importance for the developing industry.
ANNOFER - Non-Ferrous Metals Special Section / In the Non-Ferrous Metals section, exhibitors will showcase the latest machinery, equipment, products, raw materials and consumables in the field of non-ferrous metals. This section will focus on the plants and equipment required for the production and shaping of non-ferrous metals, including metallurgical plants, rolling mills and all kinds of machinery and equipment required for raw material processing.
Iron and Steel Special Section / The steel sector, which is of great importance in our country's total exports, will be exhibited in larger halls with the support of TÇÜD Turkish Steel Producers Association. In addition to the international suppliers of the steel industry, the leading manufacturers of the iron and steel sector and steel service centers will have the opportunity to exhibit their developing technologies, services and products in these halls.
More than 20,000 visitors from 81 countries are expected
