The mining industry started exporting rapidly in 2021. Exports increased by 57.9%. The fair, which enables the sector to build productive business relationships for all its players, will increase exports.
A steady increase in visitor and exhibitor numbers
The Mining Turkey Fair, which brings together industry players, manufacturers, non-governmental organizations, relevant ministries and their subsidiaries, universities, the trade press, and professional visitors, has seen a steady increase in visitors and participants every year.
The last fair hosted 448 exhibitors from 33 countries such as Germany, America, China, Russia, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France, 762 foreigners from 69 countries, a total of 11,082 visitors as well as Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Northern Macedonia, Ghana, purchasing delegations from Nigeria, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The fair, which exhibited all the machinery and equipment, consumables, auxiliary materials, and services required for surface and underground mining, and with which all exhibitors and visitors were satisfied, recorded a 14% increase in the number of participants and 17% in the number of visitors in the same year. It is expected that the steady increase in both exhibitor and visitor numbers will continue at this year's show. The fair can be visited until Sunday, December 12, at 5:00 pm.
KOSGEB and Procurement Committee Program Support
This year, the fair will bring together industry representatives with the support of KOSGEB. KOSGEB will provide support to companies participating in the fair. Participants can take advantage of the support by applying to KOSGEB. The fair, supported this year by the Overseas Buyer Delegation Program of the Ministry of Commerce, will bring participants together with procurement committees and create a practical trade platform for the development of the industry.
Negotiations will start before the fair
By searching and filtering through the Business Connect Program developed by TÜYAP, the participants will be able to find suitable business contacts, send requests, message and plan meetings between December 6-8, 2021 before the fair. During the fair, they will have the opportunity to prepare in advance for productive business meetings. Between December 9-12,participants and visitors who have made a meeting plan will be able to meet online or face-to-face through the Business Connect Program.
A Safe Environment
Through the fairs it organizes, TÜYAP, which directs the development of many industries from defence to packaging, from agriculture to construction, will meticulously implement the COVID-19 measures it applies at every fair, also at the Plast Eurasia meeting. TÜYAP, as the first exhibition centre to receive the Turkish Standards Institute COVID-19 Safe Service Certificate, will create a safe fair environment for its exhibitors and visitors with the measures it takes.
