The increase in the exports of the armature sector in the said period was 9.56 percent and the export amounted to 3.3 billion dollars. Casting exports, another complementary sector, increased by 3.76 percent and reached 8.1 billion dollars. While there was an increase of 36.52 percent in the exports of the aluminum industry, the export income exceeded 5.4 billion dollars. Exports of 2 billion dollars were realized in the hardware sector, where an increase of 11.9 percent was experienced. In the January-October period, the increase in the exports of the general kitchen sector was 0.07 percent. The amount of exports was realized as 4.9 billion. While the exports of the construction materials industry increased by 14.18 percent to 29.4 billion dollars, the exports of the metal packaging industry increased to 417 with an increase of 26 percent.

Tecdelioğlu stated that the number of members of the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association reached 7 thousand 430 from 7 thousand 272 compared to the previous month. Çetin Tecdelioğlu said: “In the period of October 2022, in the exports of ferrous and non-ferrous metals sub-sector, the aluminum product group ranked first on value basis with 439 million dollars. The aluminum sector was followed by iron and steel products with 217 million dollars, metals with 208 million dollars, and copper product groups with 168 million dollars. The copper industry ranks first in the world and Europe in the export of copper wires in the product group. While we rank second in the world in exports of other copper alloys, we rank first in exports to Europe. As a sector, we are pleased that the increase in our exports continues. We will continue to contribute to the economy of our country with our exports. With our exports, we have become the sixth largest exporter among the industrial sectors.
