The European Commission wants to extend duties on hot-rolled coils from Brazil, Iran and Russia

The tariffs were first introduced in 2017, and the commission began reviewing their expiration date on October 5, 2022. The duties are €54.50-€63 per ton for Brazilian producers, €57.50 per ton for Iranian mills and €17.60-€96.50 per ton for Russian mills.

Russian steel company Severstal is at the lower end, while others face more significant tariffs.
