Weekly Money and Banking Statistics were published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT).
Accordingly, as of December 1st, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 2 billion 236 million dollars to 93 billion 233 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were 90 billion 997 million dollars on 24 November.
In the said period, gold reserves increased by 1 billion 420 million dollars from 45 billion 496 million dollars to 46 billion 916 million dollars.
The Central Bank's total reserves reached an all-time high of $140 billion 149 million in the week of December 1st, up $3 billion 656 million from $136 billion 493 million in the previous week.
While the increase in total reserves from the end of May to the week ending December 1st was 41 billion 691 million dollars, the increase corresponded to 42.3 percent.
