Taiwan's slab imports decreased

According to statistics from Customs, Taiwan's slab imports in July 2023 decreased by 45 percent compared to June and amounted to approximately 98,900 tons. The main reason for the decrease was explained as the lack of imports from Saudi Arabia, whose supply was 50,000 tons in June.

Imports from Japan remained stable on a monthly basis and had the largest share with approximately 49,500 tons. The source from Russia was 48,600 tons, down 38.5 percent month on month. China's supply was only 879 tons.
