Taiwan's imports of heavy melting scrap increased

The main sources of these imports were the United States and Japan, with about 124,000 tonnes and 85,000 tonnes, respectively. The Dominican Republic ranked third, exporting about 20,600 tonnes of scrap to Taiwan, followed by Canada with 11,000 tonnes.

In the first ten months of this year, Taiwan's total imports of heavy melting scrap reached about 2.65 million tonnes.
