Taiwanese steel pipe producer Mayer and Kao Hsing Chang increased their product prices by approximately 4% for April. Galvanized steel pipe prices increased by 1,200NT/t, while black steel pipes increased by 1,000NT/t.
It was stated that the export rate is low in Taiwan, as international oil prices and raw material prices are high.
According to Kao Hsing Chang, domestic orders will increase by 100 tons monthly to reach 2500 tons. In this respect, it is expected to be optimistic on an order basis until July.
