Yieh Hsing, Taiwan's leading wire rod manufacturer, reported July consolidated revenue of NTD 613 million (USD 19.4 million). The company's consolidated revenue nearly doubled compared to July last year, driven by higher sales volumes and lower inventory levels. It was also the fourth consecutive month in which the company's revenue exceeded NTD 600 million (USD 19 million) and the fifth month of y-o-y growth.
Yieh Hsing's consolidated revenue for the first seven months of 2024 approached NTD 3.92 billion (USD 124.1 million), up 30% y-o-y. However, despite this revenue growth, the company reported a net loss after tax of NTD 518 million (USD 16.4 million) in the first half of the year. Loss per share was NTD 0.98 (USD 0.031), up from NTD 0.85 (USD 0.027) in the same period last year.
