According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economy, the volume of export orders for base metal and its products in October this year was reported at $1.99 billion. This indicates a decrease of 5.4% compared to October 2022, but a growth of 3.5% compared to the previous month. Moreover, Taiwan's export orders for basic metals and metal products fell by 5.4% in September compared to the previous month.
In the January-October period, the volume of export orders for basic metals and metal products totaled $20.88 billion, down 23.9% year-on-year.
