Sustainable steel deal from Salzgitter and Mubea

Salzgitter Flaschstahl GmbH signed a memorandum of understanding with the German automaker Mubea. The two companies that signed this document; will cooperate in the fields of sustainable steel production, green steel and steel recycling. Looking at Mubea's targets, it is seen that it has taken steps towards increasing the use of green steel and reducing its carbon emissions by at least 25% by 2025. It is known that Salzgitter aims to be carbon neutral by 2033.
