The "Steel For Tomorrows" conference organized by Mert Çelik brought steel producers and end-user companies together under the same roof. The conference was held at Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Hotel and brought together representatives of Mert Çelik, Özkan Demir Çelik, Swiss Steel and Andernach&Bleck factories and end-user factories.
The conference started with the opening speech of Ersin Bayraktar, Mert Çelik Sales Manager, followed by presentations by Özkan Demir Çelik, Swiss Steel and Andernach&Bleck. The manufacturers gave information about user comments and new projects related to their sectors, and explained the production stages of the products and the techniques used in detail.
In the question-answer session following the presentations, end users submitted their questions to the companies and exchanged information. and interacted with each other. The event continued with dinner after the conference and presentations.
Founded in 1998 by Aytekin Öztaş in order to meet the qualified steel needs of the industry, Mert Çelik today operates in a closed area of 15 thousand square meters with two warehouses and a bright steel factory within its subsidiary Mac Parlak Çelik. Mert Çelik, which has qualified steel products between Ø4 and Ø1200 mm in its stocks, also produces cold drawing between Ø4 mm and Ø80 mm and peeling between Ø18 mm and Ø80 mm in its bright steel factory.
Mert Çelik is the largest contracted dealer of Özkan Demir Çelik in the hot rolling qualified steel group and is the Aegean Region Dealer of Swiss Steel Group in the bright steel, stainless steel and tool steels group. At the same time, it is the Turkish representative of the Germany-based Andernach&Bleck group.
