The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) announced the groundbreaking for a large structural steel fabrication facility located within the China-Egypt Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (TEDA Suez) in Sokhna.  Steel Fabrication Plant Opens in Suez Canal Economic Zone

According to SCZONE's press release, the new plant will be built on an area of 27,000 square meters and will have an annual production capacity of 140,000 tons of steel structures and 300 panels. The plant's products and services are planned to cater to construction projects in the European Union, Middle East and African markets.

This project, which is part of Sino-Egyptian cooperation, is expected to contribute significantly to regional economic development. The new plant will strengthen the regional industrial infrastructure and create jobs in the region, supporting local economic growth. The increase in steel production will help meet demand in the region's construction sector and contribute to the realization of infrastructure projects.

This development represents an important step towards SCZONE's goal of increasing regional trade and investment potential. The new facility will contribute to sustainable development by enhancing the economic diversification of the region and will increase foreign investor interest in the region. As part of the Sino-Egyptian cooperation, this large-scale project will contribute to strengthening the strategic partnership between China and Egypt by boosting the region's market and employment.
