Minnesota-based Spectro Alloys has finalized an agreement to sell an 80% stake to Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), enhancing EGA’s involvement in the North American market. This deal, valued at $75 million, aims to expand Spectro Alloys' production capacity and integrate more sustainable practices in aluminum recycling.
The partnership marks a significant step for EGA in its strategy to increase its global footprint, particularly in aluminum recycling. The transaction is set to complete in the third quarter of this year, pending regulatory approvals.
The new agreement between Spectro Alloys and Emirates Global Aluminium aims to enhance their production of recycled-content aluminum, addressing the increasing global demand for sustainable materials.
