According to the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) data, the 13-week, annualised and exchange rate-adjusted growth in commercial loans declined to 17.02 percent in the week of 13 October. In the week of 6 October, commercial loans had outpaced consumer loans with a growth of 18.28 percent.
A similar trend is observed in consumer loan growth. According to the same data, consumer loans grew by 14.94 per cent.
In May, consumer loans grew by more than 100 per cent and reached the highest level of the year.
