Shares of iron and steel giants increased on a monthly basis

Monthly base profit was observed in Erdemir, Kardemir and Isdemir shares. Erdemir showed an increase of 14% on a monthly basis. Reaching its historical record on February 23, it amounted 53.55 and took a downward direction. As the market sat down, the sudden ups and downs of share values also slowed down. The current share value was seen as 43.53 TL.

Recently, ERDEMIR announced 600 million in aid to the earthquake region

In addition to all these, the company, which made a statement to KAP, reported that Ereğli Demir Çelik Factories donated 600 million liras to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) account due to the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes.

The statement made in the KAP reads as follows;

"At the Board of Directors meeting of our Company, it was decided to make a donation of 600 million liras by our company to the AFAD account of the Ministry of Interior due to the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş province on February 6, 2023 and directly affected ten of our cities. The decision of the board of directors in question will be submitted for the approval of our shareholders at the first general assembly meeting to be held. We respectfully submit to the information of the public with our wishes for the past to our country."

There was an increase in Isdemir on a monthly basis

The shares were closed for sale for ten days as they were affected by the earthquake that shook Turkey. Iskenderun Demir Celik, which paused production until the due diligence studies were completed after the earthquake, stated that the damage was not at a level that would significantly affect the financial statements of the company, and stated that "it is planned to restart production in a gradual and controlled manner after the works are completed". After that, it opened and progressed to the top levels, now it is calm. Since the factory has not started production yet, the trend of the shares is curious.

Kardemir shares also showed an increase in the monthly assessment

Kardemir, which has seen a 25% increase in a month, increased its share value from 15 TL to 25 TL and completed the week at 22.48 TL on Friday. The current share value is seen as TL 22.16.
