Saudi Arabian oil and gas giant Saudi Aramco has inked significant contracts with two local pipe manufacturer. Aramco has entered into a contract withTenaris Saudi Steel Pipes, a leading pipemaker in the kingdom. Under this agreement, Tenaris Saudi Steel Pipes will supply oil and gas pipelines valued at 138.6 million Saudi riyals ($36.95 million) to Aramco.
The contract spans a period of up to 12 months, during which Tenaris will play a crucial role in enhancing Aramco’s pipeline network.
APC, another local manufacturer, secured a contract with Aramco as well.The deal involves supplying steel pipes directly from APC’s own mills. These steel pipes, worth approximately 107 million Saudi riyals ($28.53 million), will be utilized by Aramco over a 10-month period. APC’s expertise in steel production positions it as a key contributor to Aramco’s ongoing projects.
Aramco anticipates that the financial impact of both contracts will be reflected in its financial statements during the first and second quarters of 2025. These partnerships underscore Aramco’s commitment to supporting local industries and fortifying its operations.
