In a landmark achievement for Saudi Arabia's mining sector, the National Industrialization Company has successfully exported 37,000 tonnes of pig iron to the United States. Dr. Fadi Trabzoni, the Executive Vice President of the Mining Sector at the National Industrialization Company, shared the details shipment from Jizan during an interview on Al-Ekhbariya channel.
This milestone is a testament to Saudi Arabia's commitment to diversifying its economy and expanding its presence in global markets. The shipment, which originates from the Middle East's first mining industries factory, represents a significant step forward for the nation's industrial capabilities.
During the interview, Dr. Trabzoni expressed his pride in this accomplishment, starting with the production of iron ore and the production of pig iron." He emphasized that the factory's production adheres to high-quality standards, making it suitable for export to global markets.
Dr. Trabzoni explained how these raw materials serve as the foundation for various advanced industries, including medical applications, shipbuilding, submarines, and construction. These raw materials are received through Jazan Port and undergo smelting processes to become essential components for a wide range of products.
