Russian gas shipments to Slovakia have increased through the Velke Kapusany port on the Ukrainian border, according to data from Slovakian natural gas transmission company Eustream.
While 48.4 million cubic meters of natural gas was shipped daily to Slovakia via Ukraine yesterday, 80 million cubic meters of natural gas will be shipped via the aforementioned route today.
On January 19, Russia stopped shipments from Poland, where it sends natural gas via Ukraine.
Following the announcement of the data, the price of the March futures contracts traded at TTF, the Netherlands-based virtual natural gas trading point with the deepest depth in Europe, decreased by about 8 percent.
