Russia's exports of steel and pipes through the railway network in april decreased by 5.5

Russian steel exports to Europe decreased by 27% to 383.3 thousand tonnes in April. Russian steel exports to Turkey decreased by 39.8% in April from 279,000 tonnes to 168,000 tonnes.

Exports to China and Taiwan rose by 11% to 173,000 tonnes in April. Mexico received 545,000 tonnes of metal, higher than in March (453,000 tonnes).

Exports to CIS countries decreased by 16% to 462 thousand tonnes, while only 19 thousand tonnes of metal were shipped to Asia-Pacific countries (excluding China and Taiwan).

Exports of iron ore and concentrates in April reached 1.1 million tonnes, maintaining the level of March. The main volume was shipped to China with 939 thousand tonnes.
