Russian semi-finished product exports to Turkey hike in May

According to the data from Turkey’s officials, in May, Turkey’s semi-finished products imports from Russia amounted to 460,000 tons, soaring by double compared to the same month a year ago.

In the first five months, Turkey’s semi-finished product imports amounted to 3.05 million tons, hiking by 57% from the same period a year ago.

Among them, Russia exported semi-finished products to Turkey, totaling 1.58 million tons, increasing by 12% year on year. Meanwhile, Algeria was the second largest import source, with about 347,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%.
