Mills that traditionally ship through Russia's Far East ports booked at least two cargoes to Asia at $500-510 per tonne CFR last week. No deals from suppliers shipping from the Black Sea basin had been heard.
The most recent indications for billet in Turkey ranged from $470 to 480 per tonne CFR, which corresponds to $440 to $455 per tonne FOB Black Sea. These indications come from Russia and the occupied Donbass region of Ukraine. This was versus $480-490 per tonne CFR heard early last week.
