Manturov made evaluations about the Russian metal and automobile industries at the meeting held with government officials in the capital Moscow.
Stating that the state support to the Russian automobile industry, which has had a difficult time due to the sanctions, will increase, Manturov said, "We plan to increase the share of the vehicles produced in Russia in the automobile sector from 40 percent to 80 percent by 2030. With the increasing government support, we will double the automobile production until 2025, We aim to triple the production of auto parts." said.
Stating that they plan to increase their rolled ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal production, Manturov also said that they will take steps to increase the demand in the Russian domestic market.
Underlining that they changed the export routes of metal products due to sanctions, Manturov said, "Russian metal production companies are directing their exports to China, Turkey, CIS countries, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America, and these markets are gaining priority." he said.
