Tecdelioğlu stated that the added value created by the sector emerges much more clearly considering that the average of exports per kilogram in Turkey is around 1.4 dollars. Sector exports reached 9 billion dollars in 7 months
İDDMİB President Tecdelioğlu stated that in the first 7 months, the sector realized an export of 8.9 billion dollars with an increase of 33 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Noting that the share of the iron and non-ferrous sector in total exports has increased to 6.2 percent, Tecdelioğlu emphasized that they are the sixth largest exporter among the industrial sectors.
