The Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant exploded. And ArcelorMittal temporarily stopped production. This is a huge ecological disasters which will influence on many sectors. Russia and Ukraine made statements blaming each other for this attack; but no one has claimed responsibility for the explosion yet.
More than 6,000 civilians have to displace as about 30 settlements and about 22,000 houses were flooded. According to the forecast, the rise of water can last up to 10 days. And also a decrease in the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir will lead to problems with the cooling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is Ukrainian biggest steel producer,a nominal crude steel capacity of 8 million tonnes/year and having almost 20 000 employees, temporarily stopped steel rolled production.
Despite the difficult situation, they stated that all orders would be fulfilled. ArcelorMittal closely monitoring the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir and after analysing the depth of the water level drop it will be clear when the plant will be able to return normal mode of operation.
Due to the uncertainty created by the war,the interest of potential foreign buyers has decreased.

Kherson,Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions will be without a source of water.
