Starting his speech by stating that green energy developments are taking place under dual carbon technologies, Guanjun Chen emphasized the combination activities of green energy and steel. Referring to how green energy offers useful actions for Shougang's green transformation, Chen first examined the main reasons behind these transformations under three main headings; global warming, energy crisis and China's 30.60 double carbon.
Dividing the necessity of green energy into three headings in the same way, Chen defined green energy as zero carbon emission, sustainability and environmentally friendly, low-carbon green transformation. He analyzed 'green activities' worldwide. Elaborating on green energy and green transformation targets globally, Chen first mentioned China, Switzerland, the UK, India and Indonesia, emphasizing that renewable energy will increase by 90% by 2050.
In crude steel production, he also pointed out that when steel consumption is 13%, carbon emissions reach 15%. Finally, he underlined that renewable green energy in the global context is generated from wind power and that India is ready to benefit from this wind energy.
