China's rebar production increased by 39% on a monthly basis, while it increased by 13% on a year-on-year basis. The construction steel is up 36% month-on-month and 13% year-on-year.
The transmission rod consumption, which has recovered with the start of infrastructure works in China since February, is expected to increase supply and demand in March.
Production costs, which also affect manufacturers, are expected to affect current prices.
With the international tension and global inflation in 2022, no significant improvement was detected in the rebar and construction steel.
China is currently continuing its efforts to strengthen its economic development policy.
