SteelRadar has compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and reported that Türkiye's rebar exports decreased by 11.1% yoy to 304,980 tons in February 2024 from 342,942 tons in the same month of the previous year. It increased by 13.8% compared to the previous month.
In January-February 2024, total exports decreased by 22.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, from 742,786 tons to 573,014 tons.
In February, Türkiye's top rebar export destination was Romania with an increase of 4405.6%, followed by Israel with a decrease of 33.8%, Yemen with a decrease of 46.8%, Ethiopia and Peru with an increase of 195.5%.
