World Water Day, declared by the United Nations (UN) in 1993 to raise awareness by drawing attention to the problem of clean water and the protection of water resources, and celebrated every year on March 22, was celebrated this year with the theme "Using Water for Peace". Among the main focuses of World Water Day is supporting the "Clean Water and Sanitation" goal, one of the UN's sustainable development goals. In this context, it is aimed to ensure that everyone around the world has access to clean and safe water by 2030.

Türkiye's largest technical granite producer, QUA Granite, draws attention to the decreasing and wasted water availability on this important day and strikingly reveals the answer to the question "What Would the Future Be Like Without Water?" Working for a livable world and drawing attention to rapidly depleting water resources, QUA Granite underlines that even a drop of water, which is the symbol of abundance, is too valuable to be wasted.

QUA Granite Marketing and Sales Director Yasin ERDOĞAN emphasized that they have adopted the philosophy of respect for nature: “We are aware that water resources are rapidly depleting and without water there will be no life to live. Therefore, we aim to reduce the consumption of natural resources and keep the environmental impact of products at a minimum level. In this context, we also have the EPD Certificate, which shows the environmental impacts of a product that can be measured by LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) and certifies that it has been independently verified and recorded. We adopt a lifelong sustainability approach in our products to offer a good life to future generations. In order to increase our efficiency and prevent water waste, we purify 100% of the wastewater generated during our production activities in our industrial water treatment facility with a total capacity of 94,000 m3/day, without discharging it into nature, and bring it back into production. As QUA Granite, without wasting even a drop of water; We will continue to protect nature not only on World Water Day, but in every aspect and moment of our lives.”
