The official news agency IRNA reported that 90% of the storage areas and containers used for loading and unloading operations are back in operation.
It also said that only one of the port's 23 piers was severely damaged by the blast.
Hormuzgan Governor Mohammad Ashuri ruled out the possibility of sabotage. “Hypotheses and investigations conducted throughout the process have shown that the sabotage theory is baseless or irrelevant,” he explained to state television on Monday.
Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, on the other hand, claimed that the explosion was the result of “negligence”.
