US' Nucor has received a permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers to construct a 3 million short-ton/year mill in Mason County, West Virginia.
The mill, costing $3.1 billion, will manufacture advanced high-end automotive and construction grades of flat steel.
It will have a 76-inch tandem cold mill with two galvanizing lines and a maximum sheet product size of 84 inches.
