Nucor Corporation, based in North Carolina, announced changes in its executive management in Charlotte.
According to the company's press release, Craig A. Feldman, Vice President of Raw Materials, will retire in June this year after 35 years of outstanding service with Nucor and The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ). Feldman, who joined DJJ as a Brokerage Representative in 1986, became the President of DJJ in 2013. When DJJ was acquired by Nucor in 2008, he became the Vice President and General Manager of Nucor. In 2018, he was promoted to Vice President of Nucor and served as President of DJJ until December 31, 2020.
In related news, the company announced in a press release that Daniel R. Needham will be promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Bar and Construction Products Manufacturing from February 1, 2021. He is currently Vice President and General Manager of Nucor Steel Indiana.
Nucor President and CEO Leon Topalian thanked Craig for his leadership. Throughout his long career of thirty years, he has contributed significantly to the success of DJJ and Nucor. Moreover, he said Daniel will be a great addition to the company's senior management team.
