Expressing concern about the potential negative impact of changes in tax policy in Ukraine, Viktor Pinchuk's pipe mill warns that these changes could have detrimental effects on its operations and the general business environment in the country. Nizhnedneprovsky Pipe Rolling Plant produces straight seam welded pipes with diameters from 152 to 530 mm. Production capacity exceeds 850 thousand tons.
According to the facility, the proposed changes would significantly increase the company's tax burden, potentially leading to financial difficulties and resulting in reduced competitiveness. They argue this could lead to job losses and reduced investment in the sector.
The pipe facility highlights the importance of a stable and predictable tax policy for maintaining a positive investment climate in Ukraine. It was announced that the company diversified its customer base by entering foreign markets in order to minimize the risk of losing market share. Thus, in the last 10 years, the list of product buyers has been replenished with businesses from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and India.
