NMDC Limited, one of India's largest companies, reached a record high with sales of 4.21 million tons in March 2025, an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year. The company's March production was 3.55 million tons.
In the last quarter (Q4 FY25), NMDC produced 13.27 million tons and sold 12.66 million tons, the highest quarterly sales performance in its history. Sales increased compared to both the previous quarter and the same period of 2024.
As part of its strategic growth plans, the company also realized its highest annual capital expenditure (CAPEX) to date: INR 3,707 crore (about USD 432,929).
“As we enter FY26, we are one step closer to increasing our production capacity to 100 million tons by 2030,” stated Shri Amitava Mukherjee, Chairman of NMDC, noting that demand for iron ore in India is rising with a decline in exports and an increase in commercial mining.
