NLMK sold its high-quality division to the Industrial and Metallurgical Holding

NLMK sold its high-quality plants in the Kaluga region and the Urals to structures associated with the owner of IMH Evgeny Zubitsky . Analysts estimate the deal at 60 billion rubles, which NLMK will be able to spend on strengthening its position in the domestic market.

According to the state register of legal entities, 100% of NLMK-Kaluga LLC and Vtorchermet NLMK LLC is now owned by the structure of the owner of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH) Evgeniy Zubitsky - LLC "Promsort" The corresponding changes were made on 6 September.

In February, the Vedomosti newspaper wrote that the NLMK group was selling its own factories in the Urals and Kaluga region, and possible bidders for the purchase were the Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH) and the Novostal-M company. The publication's source in the company that purchases NLMK products estimated the value of the assets being sold at 75-100 billion rubles, based on the fact that NLMK previously offered to buy only the Ural plants for 50 billion rubles.
