New MoU to propel Chinese business expansion in Ras Al Khaimah

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, celebrated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Foshan Commerce Bureau and the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), covering sectors such as steel, building materials, furniture, and new energy vehicles. The agreement aims to enhance bilateral relations through business events, delegation exchanges, and trade and investment cooperation.

RAKEZ CEO Ramy Jallad highlighted Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a strong hub for the steel and building materials industries, emphasizing that this agreement will support Chinese businesses in expanding within the region and accessing the Middle Eastern market. The Foshan delegation visited RAKEZ facilities to explore opportunities in key sectors such as construction and steel, assessing the emirate’s investment potential firsthand.

This collaboration marks a strategic step to strengthen economic ties between China and Ras Al Khaimah, while enhancing trade and investment flows for both regions.
