New Markets Congress and Fair on Belt Road (BRI) and Middle Corridor on September 14-15-16, 2023!

New Markets Congress and Fair on Belt Road (BRI) and Middle Corridor which will be held in cooperation with the Turkey-China Business Development and Support Association, is preparing to gather the Energy, Mining, Food, Agriculture, Logistics, Construction, Machinery and Information Technology sectors under the same roof in Ankara ATO Congresium between 14-15-16 September 2023.

New Markets Congress and Fair on Belt Road (BRI) and Middle Corridor will be held with the mission of bringing together the best of the sector, meeting with government officials, strengthening relations, developing business contacts, establishing new commercial relations and creating a platform where visitors can find all the needs of the sector under one roof.

Turkey supports many initiatives for the development of regional transportation corridors within the framework of its location between continents and regions.

The Central Corridor is a trade route between Europe and Asia, faster and more economical than the Northern Corridor and more favorable in terms of climatic conditions, the Central Corridor shortens the transportation time by 1/3, 2,000 km (15 days) compared to the sea route.

The Caspian Trans-Caspian East-West Middle East-West Corridor (Middle Corridor), which starts from Turkey to the Caucasus region, then across the Caspian Sea to Central Asia and the People's Republic of China following Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, constitutes one of the most important components of the project to revitalize the historical Silk Road. Starting from Turkey, the Middle Corridor extends to Georgia, Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea via rail and road connections, respectively, and from there to the People's Republic of China by following the route of Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan - Georgia or Kazakhstan (using the Caspian passage). In this context, the ports of Baku/ Alat (Azerbaijan), Aktau/Kuryk (Kazakhstan) and Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan) are used for combined transportation across the Caspian.

The Middle Corridor route will provide Central Asian countries with economic opportunities from the Europe-China trade traffic, which currently amounts to USD 600 billion annually. In particular, the establishment of logistics centers and free trade zones in the ports of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will contribute to the development and deepening of Trans-Caspian cooperation.
