According to the information shared by NBS (China National Bureau of Statistics), new housing prices in first-tier cities increased in May, according to data recorded in 70 major cities in China. This increase was stated as 0.1 percent monthly and 1.7 percent annually.
Looking at the second-tier cities, second-hand house prices decreased by 2.1 percent year-on-year in May. This decrease was 0.1 points slower compared to April. In third-tier cities, second-hand housing prices fell by 3.3 percent year, and this decrease was 0.3 points slower than in April.
