Thailand's Ministry of Commerce had decided to cancel the anti-dumping (AD) duty on hot rolled products from China and Malaysia in March this year, but the application has been extended for another five years, according to the latest decision.
The products in question are hot rolled flat products with a thickness of 0.9-100 mm and a width of 100-3.200 mm, while the AD tax rate is 30.91% in China and 23.57% - 42.51% in Malaysia, based on the CIF price.
These taxes were first implemented for five years in August 2011 and were extended for another five years in June 2017.
