The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tosyali Complex, Fuat Tosyalı, who discussed with him the strengthening of cooperation in the mining field, especially the use of iron ores from the Gara Jbeilat mine to supply the iron and steel complex of the complex in Batiwa (Oran).
It is indicated that this meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters, in the presence of a member of the Board of Directors of the complex in charge of operations in Algeria, the President and General Director of the Algerian Mines Complex and the President and General Director of the National Iron and Steel Company.
The meeting focused on “cooperation relations between companies in the mining sector and the Tosyali complex, as well as partnership and investment opportunities, especially with regard to the use of iron ores from the Gara Jbeilat mine to supply the iron and steel complex Tosyali in Batiwa (Oran).”
In this context, “it was decided to prepare a technical and commercial study on the establishment of an industrial unit to process iron ores from the Gara Jbeilat mine.”
On this occasion, Mr. Arkab expressed the sector's desire to strengthen and expand cooperation with Tosyali Complex.
