In the USA, the S&P Case-Shiller National Home Price Index increased by 19.5 percent in September compared to the same period last year, depending on the national home price index data.
Analysts stated that despite a slight slowdown in the rate of increase in housing prices, prices are still at high levels compared to last year.
Pointing out that the increase in housing prices has slowed down, the index increased by 19.8 percent annually in August. The index for housing prices in 20 cities in the USA increased by 19.1 percent on an annual basis in September. The data, which was slightly below market expectations, was expected to increase by 19.3 percent in this period. The index had increased by 19.6 percent in August.
HIGHEST INCREASE TAKES PHOENIX, TAMPA AND MIAMI
Among the 20 cities in the index, the cities with the highest increase in housing prices were Phoenix with an increase of 33.1 percent, Tampa with 27.7 percent and Miami with 25.2 percent.
