Denizli and Aydın will be connected by a high speed train line after the highway. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure set a target for the high-speed train line until 2028. Aydın-Denizli Motorway was among the investments to be completed in the first stage by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. While investments in railways, airways and communication infrastructure continue, the planned highway projects will be completed and the railway will be the priority investment area of the new period.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the first targets of the ministry's investments are highway projects. Uraloğlu stated that in the first stage, they will follow and complete important projects such as Aydın-Denizli Motorway, Ankara-Kırıkkale Motorway, Antalya-Alanya Motorway, Başakşehir-Nakkaş Motorway.
4,244 kilometers of high speed train route to be built
Railway investments will continue rapidly and 4,244 kilometers of high-speed train lines and 545 kilometers of conventional train lines will be constructed. For the Turkish Century until 2028, Izmir-Ankara, Halkali-Kapıkule, Istanbul Airport-Çatalca, Adapazarı-Gebze-YSS-Halkali, Karaman-Ulukışla, Adana-Toprakkale-Bahçe-Nurdağ-Başpınar, Aksaray-Ulukışla, Ulukışla-Yenice will be built, Bandirma-Bursa-Osmaneli, Adana-Mersin, Sivas-Erzincan, Yerkoy-Kayseri, Bursa-Gemlik, Mürşitpınar-Şanlıurfa, Aliağa-Çandarlı-Bergama, Selçuk-Ortaklar-Aydın, Aydın-Denizli, Çetinkaya-Malatya, Konya-Seydişehir-Antalya, Delice-Çorum, Sivas-Çetinkaya. Aksaray-Konya, Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa, Bandırma-Balıkesir and Balıkesir-Bergama High Speed Train projects will be realized.
