Bolat shared on his social media account that they met with the President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Mustafa Gültepe and members of the TIM Board of Directors in Istanbul.

Minister Bolat emphasized that Turkiye has increased its exports of goods 7-fold, from $36.1 billion in 2002 to $255.8 billion in 2023, in today's world where economic integrations are gaining momentum. He also noted that the ratio of exports to imports, which was 69.9 percent in 2022, increased by 0.8 points to 70.7 percent in 2023.

Bolat stated that the foreign trade deficit decreased by 3.2 percent compared to last year. The Minister thanked TIM President Gültepe and the TIM Board delegation for their kind visit and emphasized that they will continue to work in coordination with the export family in order to respond to the needs and demands of exporters, increase the awareness of Turkiye's brand, reach new markets and strengthen their positions in existing markets.
