Miilux OY, an armour steel manufacturer within OYAK, will exhibit its products at the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF).
According to the statement made by the company, IDEF'23, which will be held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, hosted by the Ministry of National Defence and under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, will be held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center on 25-28 July.
Miilux OY, which joined OYAK Group Companies in 2019 in line with the growth strategy drawn by OYAK General Manager Süleyman Savaş Erdem, continues its growth momentum with its investments and R&D studies.
Miilux OY, which continues its efforts to diversify its product range without slowing down, will introduce new armour steel solutions at IDEF'23. Miilux OY, which will exhibit Protection and Miilux product groups at the fair, will also introduce its new armour steel Protection 360T. Miilux OY will also introduce its high-strength heat-treated structural steel and submarine construction steel, which it is working to add to its product range, to visitors at the event.
It is expected to attract great interest abroad
Protection 360T, the new armour steel to be exhibited by Miilux OY at IDEF'23, will be used in tank and armoured vehicle projects where thicker material is required. Protection 360T, which has been added to the Protection product series and is compatible with international standards, is aimed to meet the needs of the domestic defence industry. Protection 360T is also expected to attract great interest in the international market.
Miilux OY, which continues its activities with the aim of producing all products demanded in the global heat treatment market, is also expanding its high-strength heat-treated structural steel family to be used in projects and areas with demanding load bearing requirements. In this context, Miilux OY, which has successfully carried out field tests of S690QL quality products, is preparing to carry out field tests for S890QL and S960QL quality products in the coming days.
Countdown has started for two new products that will reduce foreign dependency
Apart from Protection and Miilux groups, Miilux OY is also working on two new product groups, namely high-strength heat-treated structural steel and submarine construction steel, and aims to reduce foreign dependency in high-strength heat-treated structural steel and submarine construction steel, which have not been produced in Turkey before.
Miilux OY, which has developed products in HY- 80, HY- 100 and HY- 130 grades, which are mostly used in welded manufacturing and have high yield, aims to offer these products to the defence industry in the near future.
In addition to the development of the products, which are mainly used as submarine construction steel and will be used in projects in this field, field tests are also continuing successfully.
