The world's leading wind turbine blade manufacturer LM Wind Power has decided to close its factory in Türkiye, which employs 700 people.
LM Wind Power had been operating in Bergama District of Izmir for more than 8 years and officially closed its doors on March 27. In 2016, the company invested 40 million euros to build the factory and had become one of the major players in Türkiye's wind energy sector.
