Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Minerals & Metals (M&M) unit has won a major contract to build a pelletizing plant and a direct reduced iron (DRI) plant for a leading steel producer in the MENA region.
In addition, L&T's M&M unit has won another contract to build freight handling facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This repeat order comes from one of the largest railroad companies in the GCC and reinforces the company's strong presence in the region. The project involves the construction of state-of-the-art freight handling facilities in two different locations.
