In the statement, it was stated that a total of 98 projects were included in the list, which includes cross-border infrastructure investments aimed at strengthening the EU energy market and increasing supply security.
It was noted that 67 of the projects are in electricity transmission and storage, 20 in natural gas, 6 in carbon dioxide storage and 5 in smart grid. It was stated that the permit and approval processes of the projects in question would be facilitated in EU countries and financial support could be provided to the projects from EU funds.
